STANDARD™ TB-Feron Clinical Performance Evaluation
Advancing Blood-Based Tuberculosis Diagnostics
BIORAMS is conducting a clinical performance-evaluation study sponsored by SD Biosensor for the assessment of the STANDARD™ TB-Feron blood test, an interferon-gamma release assay developed to support the detection of immune responses to Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection.
The study evaluates the performance and agreement of the STANDARD™ TB-Feron assays against established commercial IGRA comparator methods across clinically defined participant groups.
The project brings together clinical sites, diagnostic laboratories, research professionals and international scientific advisors to generate evidence on the performance of an innovative blood-based tuberculosis assay in the Indian population.

Telomere Length Analysis Project
Through its collaboration with Universal Pathology Laboratory and associated scientific teams, the BIORAMS research group has contributed to a population-based project involving telomere length analysis in samples from South Africa and Ghana.
What telomeres tell us
Telomeres are protective structures located at the ends of chromosomes. Their length may provide valuable research insights into biological ageing, chronic inflammation, metabolic health, environmental influences and disease risk.
