Dr. Lorna Madurai
Dr. Lorna Madurai provides technical and scientific leadership to BIORAMS.
She is an experienced virologist, molecular diagnostics specialist, clinical laboratory professional and quality assessor with extensive involvement in international clinical research and public-health programmes.
Her experience includes leading molecular and HIV diagnostic laboratories, supporting clinical trials, implementing quality systems and advising multidisciplinary research programmes. She has also worked as a technical assessor for medical laboratories against South African accreditation standards and has supervised postgraduate and doctoral researchers.
Her professional experience includes heading molecular and HIV diagnostic laboratories, supporting international HIV-prevention trials, assisting external-quality-assurance programmes and advising multiple South African and international studies.

Mr. Nanduri Sai Krishna Kumar
Mr. Nanduri Sai Krishna Kumar provides strategic, administrative and operational leadership to BIORAMS.
He brings more than two decades of experience in business administration, business development, relationship management, regulatory compliance and organizational planning.
His expertise includes establishing operational systems, developing strategic partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, coordinating stakeholders and strengthening internal controls. His academic qualifications include an MBA in Marketing and Human Resource Management, a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce.

Dr. Sharana Mahomed supports BIORAMS as an external scientific consultant, contributing expertise in clinical research, HIV pathogenesis and the conduct of internationally relevant biomedical studies. She is currently identified by CAPRISA as its Head of HIV Pathogenesis.
